More Than Budgets

In spring 2014, area nonprofit More Than Budgets reached out to The Cause Agency for help reaching out to its audience and continuing to grow its volunteer base through a set of marketing initiatives. More Than Budgets strives to help low-income individuals improve financial behaviors using insights from development research.

To help More Than Budgets achieve these goals, The Cause Agency provided a corporate identity package including a logo, brand messaging, letterhead and business card package, and brochure. The Cause Agency also provided a website and three months of public relations consultation and execution with the goal of establishing increased community partnerships and a means of providing an international model for More Than Budgets. The value of these services was estimated at $36,000.

Working with More Than Budgets, The Cause Agency completed a discovery assessment, determining what More Than Budgets is all about. From there, The Cause Agency developed a unique logo and brand identity for the organization. The Cause Agency used this to create a business suite including business cards, envelopes, notecards and letterhead.

The Cause Agency also coordinated a direct mail strategy to attract financial planners, bankers and area nonprofit centers to help build awareness about its need for volunteer teachers and educational facilities. The invitation and informational session was a great success; uniting an additional six volunteer educators and three agencies to further partner with More Than Budgets.

The Cause Agency also worked with More Than Budgets to create a website that conformed to the new brand standards and helped More Than Budgets achieve its outreach goals.
