Cancer Support Community of North Texas

Cancer Support Community of North Texas reached out to The Cause Agency because they needed major help with the redesign of their website. After an initial review, our team found that Cancer Support Community had excellent content throughout their website — easy-to-read copy, great photos and action items — but overall, the site was cumbersome to navigate. Imagine a nice house with everything in it, except not where you’d expect — the couch is in the kitchen and the microwave is in the guest bedroom. This was Cancer Support Community’s main predicament; nothing was quite where you’d expect it to be.

With this assessment, The Cause Agency got to work on the user experience. Our web experts organized the website so that it was a more intuitive experience. Our goal was for the average visitor to easily peruse the site, read information, and find what they were looking for. Amidst the reorganization we prioritized the listing of Cancer Support Community’s locations and made sure to highlight their virtual programs which had grown considerably since the pandemic.

Our team also collaborated with a third-party program that Cancer Support Community uses for various website features, including an online calendar. We wanted everything down to the last detail to be a clear and efficient experience for users, which meant going the extra mile to work with outside parties to get it right.
